Welcome. My name is Jeff and I built this website for those of you interested in my thoughts on Scouting. I am an Eagle Scout, a past committee chair, and scoutmaster for a large troop in the Seattle area. My opinions are my own. All trademarks used are owned by their respective owners.
If you do not want to see what is available to websites as you browse the internet or you want to control whether some of that information is shared, please search Google for appropriate keywords to find instructions. This website collects all information presented to it about you including demographics and in return Google and its tracking partners get access to the same information. This is really typical these days and since a scout is Trustworthy it seems appropriate to make sure you are aware.
To offset the cost to bring this blog to you I participate in two programs, Google AdSense which presents Ads and Amazon Associates which provides you an easy way to purchase the gear I recommend. This website, http://troopfiveseventeen.blogspot.com/ is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. These links are found within posts where I refer to gear or products that I recommend.
